Resumen de LA ENSEÑANZA DE LAS MATEMÁTICAS: UN RETO.

La enseñanza de las matemáticas es una componente esencial de cualquier sistema educativo; no sólo porque es importante conseguir que todos los ciudadanos posean un grado adecuado de conocimiento matemáticos, sino también porque este objetivo es extremadamente difícil de lograr y, en consecuencia, porque requiere la concurrencia de todos los recursos del sistema escolar. Por tanto, el mayor o menor grado de éxito en la alfabetización matemática de los jóvenes puede ser un test que proporcione información relevante sobre los aciertos y errores de un nuevo planteamiento del sistema educativo actual en nuestro país.
El presente artículo expone algunos de los problemas más acuciantes de nuestra educación matemática, los cuales han sido identificados a través de nuestra experiencia como docentes no solo a nivel universitario sino también a nivel de la educación media.

The education of the mathematics is an essential component of any educative system; not only because it is important to obtain that all the citizens have an suitable degree of knowledge mathematical, but also because this objective is extremely difficult to obtain and, consequently, because he requires the concurrence of all the resources of the scholastic system. Therefore, the greater or smaller degree of success in the mathematical alphabetization of the young people can be a test that provides excellent information on the successes and errors of a new exposition of the present educative system in our country.
The present article exposes some of the most pressing problems of our mathematical education, which have been identified through our experience like educational nonsingle at university level but also at level of the average education.
