El análisis que contiene el presente artículo, está dirigido a formular una orientación sobre el complejo régimen legal de la responsabilidad del transportador emergente del contrato de transporte regulado en el Código de Comercio y la función que cumple el contrato de seguro en la actividad del transporte, así como las obligaciones del Asegurador emergentes de las estipulaciones de la póliza de Seguro de Transporte.

The analysis exposed in the actual paper is oriented to provide certain guidance about the complex legal structure of the carrier´s responsibility which is generated by the transportation contract regulated in the Trade Code, and the role of the assurance contract in the transportation business, as well as the insurance company´s obligations established on the insurance contract.
