  • Another pil- grimage essay provides an extraordinarily fine conjunction of narrative, performance, and belief. in tiina Sepp's "Stories of Santiago Pil- grims: tradition through creativity," the author interviews various walkers and bike riders on the famous route, and she, herself, becomes a part of her subjects' stories. her work collecting the tales of Santiago pilgrims leads her to question her role in their journey, asking; "Why did [pilgrim] roger choose to tell his stories to me?
