Resumen de The social responsibility: A study in the organizations of the state of Rio Grande do Sul

  The social responsibility is an issue each day more important in the behavior and study of the organizations that not long ago worried mainly about the increase of the profits and the production. The research aimed at verifying the programs of social responsibility carried out by nine enterprises of the state of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil; and the impact of these programs. Concerning its ends the research was exploratory and descriptive; concerning its means it was of field and bibliographical. The results of the research contributed for the study about Social Responsibility, as they contributed with the knowledge related to the issue, agreggating values to the studies already done in the area and becoming important for the business community, as providing empirical evidences about the programs carried out by the organizations of the research, showing their performance in relation to the Social Responsibility.

  A Responsabilidade Social é um tema cada vez mais importante no comportamento e no estudo das organizações que se preocupavam, há pouco tempo, principalmente com o aumento dos lucros e da produção. A pesquisa objetivou verificar os programas de Responsabilidade Social desenvolvidos por nove empresas do estado do Rio Grande do Sul – Brasil; e o impacto desses programas. Quanto aos fins, a pesquisa foi exploratória e descritiva; quanto aos meios, foi de campo e bibliográfica.  Os resultados da pesquisa colaboraram para o estudo sobre a Responsabilidade Social, à medida que contribuíram para o conhecimento relacionado ao tema, agregando valor aos estudos já realizados na área e tornam-se importante para a comunidade empresarial, pois fornecem evidências empíricas sobre os programas realizados pelas organizações da pesquisa, mostrando o seu desempenho em relação à Responsabilidade Social.
