    El presente documento tiene como propósito, hacer un análisis descriptivo y comparativo de las características del subempleo en Pereira, durante el período correspondiente al 3er. trimestre del año 2004, comparado con el mismo período del año 2003, con base en la información de los resultados obtenidos en las Tablas de Salida de la encuesta continua de Hogares - Datos sólo para Pereira que realiza el DANE de los períodos señalados. Para alcanzar el objetivo propuesto, el trabajo se desarrolla centrando el análisis en la tipificación de la población según la edad, nivel educativo, posición ocupacional, oficio y rama de actividad

    The present paper has as purpose, to make a descriptive and comparative analysis of the behavior and characteristic of the underemployment in Pereira, during the period corresponding to the 3er. trimester of the year 2004, compared with the same period of the year 2003, taking as information bases for the analysis, the results obtained in the Squares of Exit of the continuous survey of Homes - Data only for Pereira that carries out the one it DANE, of the two signal periods. For the achievement of the proposed objective, the work is developed centering the analysis in the population's of agreement age, educational level, occupational position, class of work, and activity Branch.
