    El proyecto de sistema logístico en desarrollo para la Sociedad Meridiano de Cubalse se soporta, en buena medida, en una organización empresarial que difiere de su antecesora en cuanto al papel protagónico asignado a una nueva dirección funcional que no existía: la de Logística, encargada de regular los flujos de mercancías desde sus orígenes (proveedores) hasta el destino final (clientes), interactuando sistémicamente con las otras tres direcciones de la línea operativa de la Sociedad, que son las de compras, ventas e investigación de mercado. Los sistemas automatizados que permiten implantar el nuevo esquema de trabajo de esta organización, se encuentran en fase de puesta a punto, implementación y consolidación aunque de hecho ya están siendo usados como herramientas de trabajo del Grupo de Planificación para llevar a la Dirección de Compras las sugerencias de compras que garanticen el flujo ininterrumpido de mercancías al ritmo que demandan las ventas y en general el movimiento de estas en todo el sistema.

    The project of the logistic system still in progress for Cubalse Meridiano Enterprise, is scaffolded to some extent, on a business organization which differs from the form one in the main roll assigned to a new functional management that did not exist before; that of the logistic one, uncharged of regulating merchandise flow coming from the suppliers until they get to their destiny (customers) they are constantly interacting with the other three directions of the operative line of the enterprise, those of purchasing, selling and marketing research. The automatic systems which allow us the implementation of the new working conception of this organization are in the stage of starting point, implementation and consolidation, though they are blind used as working tools in the planning group in order to suggest the purchasing orders to the Purchasing Managers that guarantee the continuos flow of merchandise at the rote demanded by the selling and generally their distribution along the system.
