  • This article presents the results of the project PVEPA, product of the collaborative effort of Cuerpo Academico Tecnologias de Alimentos (UTIM-CA-2) and Cuerpo Academico Gestion del Conocimiento A traves de las TI (UTIM-CA-6) affiliated with the Universidad Tecnologica de Izúcar de Matamoros. The project's goal is to help determine the feasibility of agribusiness project success through financial analysis and profitability indicators such as breakeven point, net present value (NPV) and internal rate of return (IRR). Therefore, this paper presents as a response to develop a web application, which identifies investment, time and personal factors that influence the determination of NPV and IRR. It also aims to help agribusiness producers to avoid economic loss and waste of their products, and to determine the profit that can be achieved for a product.
