    • One of the educational methods most widely accepted and used today by private institutions is the constructivist approach.In this method the teacher gives his role the student, who assumes the role in their own learning process. The student becomes responsible for their learning, however, what both teachers of these institutions know the constructivist method?. To resolve this question, this research was conducted in a private educational institution Monterrey, NL, this research was descriptive qualitative cross for which a questionnaire was developed for self-assessment of teachers.

      For analysis of results was used the statistical program SPSS 18, which reviewed the frequency and percentage of each of the items and in the final percentages were observed higher in the scale of responses.Later questions were grouped into eight levels and obtained individual and group percentage according to the responses of teachers.The results obtained are perceived that teachers have the necessary knowledge and the necessary knowledge and theoretical basis of constructivist method in a very high level.
