  • Resumen
    • This paper presents the results of an applied research and technology transfer project focused on serving diverse needs of the productive sector of the influence zone of the UTH, related to resource management and operation of production processes of micro, small and medium companies, by using mathematical models of Operations Research, such as Linear and Integer Linear Programming, Goal programming, Dynamic Programming and PERT-CPM. The issues to address include the allocation of resources (human, material and technological), production lines distribution, distribution routes (logistics), distribution / warehouse management, product mix and inventory policies.

The project was divided into two stages, the first consisting of the study of contextual and conceptual frameworks, and the second by the application of quantitative methods and mathematical modeling itself on attention to the specific needs found in the previous stage.
