Resumen de Creación de consciencia ambiental, caracterización de residuos y confinamiento de residuos en el marco de la gestión integral de residuos
The achievement of sustainability requires the exchange of a linear system of satisfaction of material needs a cyclic scheme of: extraction of raw materials, production, distribution, consumption and waste; where once completed the service life of the satisfiers these can be exploited through technological production schemes viable, economically feasible, environmentally responsible and socially acceptable. However, structuring an efficient scheme of Integral management of wastes that will allow chained the disposal of satisfiers with obtaining raw materials, requires a series of stages such as: waste characterization, calculation of generation per capita, creation of environmental awareness in the society, identification of potential markets, generation of waste treatment strategies identification of final disposal sites, the adaptation of technologies, the design and construction of treatment facilities and the necessary research for the optimization of the corresponding processes.
These stages, has been addressed throughout various projects throughout Mexico by working together the Academy with public and private instances where the results of the carried out activities are successfully operating environmental projects that are solving integral and sustainable manner the problem of waste in Mexico.
