  • The present study proposes properly ways to impulse the technological improvement oh the region and is based in the establishment of a demonstrative land with 3 QPM maize species, which are characterized by high protein content (2.5-3%).

    Is localized at installations of Universidad Tecnologica de Izucar de Matamoros (UTIM).

    Previous reports from INIFAP at the geographical area points a performance of 3 to 4 tons/Ha. The followed objectives by this work are: To apply a technological package that allows to rise de performance from 4 to 8 tons/Ha of maize by the improvement of: high population density , good dose fertilization, plagues and illness control, cultural work application, good water management by dropped watering, the use of organic compost, by which it is going to use biotechnological techniques and methods during the production process, besides, when common practices are modified and it is use the suggest technologies, it will be allowed the potential of production, the used methods will be improved and innovated, adding suggestions and solutions for farmers which are dedicated to this corn, more over by the transfer of technology there could be a diminution of troubles like low performance, and increase the profitability of this product, the sustainability of the region, improve the nutritional diet and the requirements of the human organism to properly grow, and increase the entry of families with low economical, health and social possibilities localized at the region of Izucar de Matamoros.
