La lectura es evento estético, es decir, un acontecimiento creador e imaginario. Pero también es un hecho complejo que se origina en la experiencia humana; es una forma de interpretación, a la vez que un despliegue de sentidos en el lector. A partir de algunas afirmaciones de autores como Borges, Nietzsche, Heidegger, entre otros, sobre el sentido de la lectura, este texto sólo sugiere posibilidades de lo que significa leer. El sueño y el espejo son maneras en las que el lector se funde en la lectura, pero esto es posible porque leer es un acto pasional: un encuentro íntimo del lector y el texto. El texto, si es un texto clásico, es un modo de apertura ilimitado de diversos sentidos que no se agotan. De otro lado, la lectura como "tejido de sentidos"tiene que ver con la ética y la política en su alcance más auténtico, porque sitúa en perspectiva al lector y le Impulsa a la crítica, es decir, lo desata de los dogmas. Todas estas reflexiones conducen, finalmente, a una visión pedagógica que se apoya en las experiencias más radicales de lectura. Es, precisamente, desde una estética de la lectura del texto poético que se llega, en la interacción entre el maestro y el discípulo, a la lectura crítica en diversos contextos y se pone en juego el diálogo textual.

Reading is an aesthetic event, that is to say, a creative and imaginary event. But it is also a complex fact that originates in the human experience; it is an interpretation form, in turn, a deploy of senses in the reader. Starting from some statements of authors like Borges, Nietzsche, Heidegger, among other, on the sense of the reading, this text only suggests possibilities of what means to read. The dream and the mirror are ways in those that the reader meets in the reading, but this is possible because to read is a passional act: an intimate encounter of the reader and the text. The text, if it is a classic text, it is an opening way limitless of diverse senses that are not drained. Of another side, the reading like as "tejido" (text) of senses has to do more with the ethics and the politics in their authentic reach because it locates in perspective to the reader and it impels him to the critic, that is to say, it unties it of those dogmas. All these reflections drive, finally, to a pedagogic vision that leans on in those more radical experiences of reading. It is, in fact, from an aesthetics of the reading of the poetical text that it arrives, in the teacher's interaction and pupil, to the critical reading in diverse contexts and puts in to play the textual dialogue.
