This paper is based on identifying the benefits generated by the implementation of model competency-based education in an institution of higher education, specifically, in the Educational Program Administration and Evaluation of the Technological University of Valle del Mezquital, since to perform this task, the faculty has faced constant dynamic analysis of results and establishment of new actions to meet the needs involving the actors involved in the process of skills development. There are various benefits ranging from the domestic (institutions and students) to external (socio-economic) highlighting the increased interaction between students, institution and business sector.
