  • Resumen
    • This research was raised: What is the dimension of gender violence in the students from the top level of the Universidad Autónoma de Guerrero in Acapulco? In the sample of 455 female students the 18.5 % reported that it has been forced to have sex by their peers, teachers, managers, and unknown; the 59.9 % points out that he has lived situations of gender violence related to harassment and sexual harassment, received on the part of a master a 37.10 %, of an unknown a 16.30 % and a classmate a 16.10 %.A 79% report know little or nothing the international laws, national and state on gender equity, and about the women's right to live a life free of violence. A little more than half do not know what to do to deal with a situation of gender violence. The University does not apply measures for the prevention, care and follow up on cases of harassment, sexual harassment and any form of gender violence that's why it needs mechanisms for the prevention, punishment and eradication of violence experienced by the girls, hence the urgency of diagnostics, protocols and mechanisms of attention in the matter, as well as comply with the recommendations of the CEDAW.
