The present study focuses on the experience of an University which has used the methodology of Appreciative Inquiry and Innovative Situation Questionnaire since 2010, in order to overcome their performance level which one can be qualified as satisfactory.
The application of the tools above mentioned has three different moments of use that can be summarized as follow:
a) Application of Appreciative Inquiry with the objective of the strategy plan reinforces the positive characteristics of the organization.
b) Application of Innovative Situation Questionnaire and other tools for mapping the Quality Management System process.
c) Analysis of the System-University through Innovative Situation Questionnaire in order to raise the level of performance.
Throughout this work, the reader will appreciate the value of innovative tools and unconventional methodologies used; applied to organizational transformation processes.
