Resumen de Desarrollo de proyectos de mejora de procesos utilizando la metodología 6 Sigma, para el fortalecimiento del cuerpo académico de gestión de calidad de la UT Tlaxcala: Un caso exitoso

Competences of graduate students of Engineering in Technological University of Tlaxcala are focused in processes and services to fulfill the requirements of the client in order to reach strategic results in the industry. One of these results is the improvement and optimization of processes and therefore satisfaction of the clients is expected. A methodology used for the process improvement is named Six Sigma, which is a set of tools and strategies focused to improve the quality of process outputs by identifying and eliminating the causes of defects in order to minimizing variability in a process to get strategic results in a company. Our academic faculty and selected undergraduate students, interested in Quality Management, developed a project in an important automotive company. In this work successful goals are described as a result of training in the methodology, company support, and team work.
