    Claire Goll bezieht sich im Titel ihres Romans Der Neger Jupiter raubt Europa eindeutig auf einen Mythos und einen Diskurs der Antike. Indem die Analyse auf diese Diskurse fokussiert, arbeitet sie die ästhetischen Kategorien heraus, die der Gestaltung des Romans zugrunde liegen. Gefragt wird, wie Claire Goll dabei das Mythische in ihrem Werk verschiebt, um Fragestellungen der Moderne diskutieren zu können.

    It is obvious that Claire Goll quotes a myth and a discourse oft the Ancient World with the titel of her novel Der Neger Jupiter raubt Europa. Focusing on those discourses, the paper attempts to work out the aesthetic categories by means of which the author constructs her story. It then investigates the way Claire Goll shifts those discourses in her framework in order to discuss some problems oft Modernity.
