  • Resumen
    • Production in protected agriculture (greenhouses) in the state of Zacatecas has increased significantly, reaching far more than 509 hectares (Acosta Reveles, 2011). In recent years there have been temperatures up to 10 ° C below zero for long periods in the wee hours, which has caused loss of production in greenhouses up to 86%. (Diaz Vicuña, 2013). The main objective of this project is to contribute to the progress of the field by incorporating regional technology at an affordable price incorporating a temperature control system using solar collectors and thermal storage as well as the design of a biodigester that will maintain a temperature suitable for the crop development even during winter. After you enable and automate the greenhouse, is planned for conservation projects of endemic plant species of great importance in the region, as well as studies for the biological control of pests that damage crops in greenhouses. In the realization of this project will be involved teachers and students from various disciplines such as Mechatronics, Energy, Biotechnology, Industrial Engineering and International Business Administration.
