This paper addresses the development of a geometric and functional model to obtain the optimal leadership style. The model based on six basic leadership styles: instrumental, strategic, interactive and charismatic, Laissez Faire, autocratic. The leadership styles and their characteristics are related by the application of this metric instrument. The instrument facilitates the optimal combination of leadership styles to be used in any kind of business organization.
Three possible hypotheses were established to predicted if 1) managers optimal combination of leadership styles. 2) if there is a difference between two subgroups of managers for a specific leadership combination, and 3) there is a difference between women and men for a specific leadership style.
