  Uno de los objetivos poetológicos de Ovidio fue pasar a código épico estructuras, temas y situaciones procedentes de otros géneros literarios. Además, creó y organizó episodios como hypothesis de tragedias o como germen de composiciones encuadrables en otros géneros, proceso que llamamos "metamorfosis de Ovidio versus Ovidio Metamorfosis".

  One of the aims of Ovid's poetic in the Metamorphoses was to transfer the epic code structures, topics and situations from other literary genres. He also created and organized episodes in hypothesis-like tragedies or as a germ of compositions which could be better understood in the context of other genres. We want to call this process "the metamorphosis of Ovid versus Ovid's Metamorphoses".
