Resumen de La crisis financiera y la responsabilidad social corporativa en las entidades financieras española

  En el contexto actual de crisis financiera y económica, las entidades financieras se han configurado como uno de los agentes claves, puesto que la grave situación de la economía y los mercados financieros internacionales ha dañado de manera importante la imagen pública de las entidades del sector, que cada vez gozan de menor confianza y credibilidad. Bajo este contexto, la aplicación de una gestión ética y con políticas de Responsabilidad Social Corporativa (RSC) se ha convertido en una �necesidad� para mejorar su salud financiera y empresarial, y en consecuencia, su reputación corporativa.

  Tomando como referencia este escenario, el objetivo de este paper es ofrecer una visión general de las actuaciones y políticas de la RSC en cinco de las principales entidades bancarias españolas, con especial interés sobre si, la RSC incide positivamente en la gestión financiera y empresarial.

  In the current context of financial and economic crisis, the financial institutions have been formed as one of the key agents, since the serious situation of the economy and the financial international markets it has damaged in an important way the public image of the entities of the sector, which every time enjoy minor confidence and credibility.

  Under this context, the application of an ethical management and with policies of Corporate social responsibility (CSR) it has turned into a "need" to improve his financial and managerial health, and in consequence, his corporate reputation.

  Taking this situation as a reference, the aim of this paper is to offer a general vision of the actions and policies of the CSR in five of the principal Spanish bank companies, with special interest on if, the RSC affects positively in the financial and managerial management.
