Este ensayo pretende revelar ciertos mecanismos de hibridación genérica que entran en juego en el relato "Un poema en el bolsillo" de Héctor Abad Faciolince y mostrar cómo y hasta qué punto el autor trabaja para que se hibriden estos tres géneros: el cuento, la autobiografía y el ensayo.
También se estudiará un elemento de hibridación que tiene toda su importancia en la aprehensión del relato: la presencia de los documentos visuales que vinculan el texto con el género periodístico. Este ensayo pretende a su vez dar una imagen del "escritor contemporáneo" metido todavía entre tradición y modernidad, entre realidad y ficción.

This essay intends to reveal certain mechanisms of generic hybridization which are used in "Un poema en el bolsillo" by Héctor Abad Faciolince and to show how and to what extent the author works at hybridizing these three literary genres: the short story, the autobiography and the essay. An important element of hybridization in the perception of the short story by the reader will also be studied: the presence of the visual documents that relate the text to the journalistic genre. And finally, this essay intends to give an image of the "contemporary writer" between tradition and modernity, reality and fiction.
