      Las manifestaciones artísticas paleolíticas de la cueva de Les Pedroses (Ribadesella, Asturias, Norte de España) fueron descubiertas por Francisco Jordá Cerdá en 1956 quien siempre tuvo la intención de publicarlas, la última en compañía de Manuel Mallo Viesca. Tras una pequeña síntesis historiográfica que recoge las vicisitudes pasadas por publicación de Les Pedroses, se presenta el manuscrito redactado por ambos estudiosos sobre su santuario rupestre magdaleniense, caracterizado por la presencia de un interesante conjunto de grabados y pinturas rupestres que representan animales acéfalos. Francisco Jordá Cerdá interpreta el panel artístico desde el punto de vista de la religiosidad prehistórica y Manuel Mallo Viesca realiza una interpretación estética del mismo.

      The Palaeolithic rock art of Les Pedroses cave (Ribadesella, Asturias, North of Spain) was discovered by Francisco Jordá Cerdá in 1956, who always had the intention of publishing them, the last one with his collaborator and friend Manuel Mallo Viesca. In this paper we present the manuscript written by both experts preceded of a small historiographic synthesis that gathers the vicissitudes passed by the publication of Les Pedroses cave. This Magdalenian cave-sanctuary is characterized by the presence of an interesting set of engravings and paintings that represents acephalous animals. Francisco Jordá Cerdá interprets the artistic panel from the point of view of the prehistoric religiosity and Manuel Mallo Viesca realizes an aesthetic interpretation of the same site.
