Resumen de Brindando con vino: ¿Quiénes eran los participantes de la mesa íbera?

Con este trabajo investigo la repercusión de la introducción del vino en la mesa ibera, partiendo de la importancia que tiene el compartir en la mesa con su modo de vida, el simbolismo social que de ella se desprende y las relaciones de poder que surgen de estos nuevos brindis. Sustento que si bien el vino no trajo consigo un nuevo modo de mesa, sí fue usada por las élites locales como instrumento de distinción social que, junto con otros factores, ayudó a ser más compleja a la sociedad peninsular.

In this paper I investigate the impact of the introduction of wine in the Iberian table, based on the importance of sharing the table with their way of life, the social symbolism of it breaks off and the power relations that emerge from this new toast. I defend that, although the wine did not bring a new way of table it did be used by local elites as an instrument of social distinction that, along with other factors, helped to be more complex to the peninsular society.
