    En este artículo se destacan los principales condicionantes que gobiernan las diferentes cuencas del Mediterráneo. El análisis está enfocado hacia el mundo fenicio y las rutas frecuentadas entre el siglo IX y el siglo VII a.C. El objetivo es analizar las dificultades que caracterizan las varias áreas del Mediterráneo; también se han intentado detectar las modificaciones ocurridas en las rutas, identificando las posibles causas que las determinaron.

    This paper aims to study the maritime dynamics which govern the various Mediterranean basins. It is focused on the Phoenician world and it is especially referred as the archaic period (IX - VII cent. B.C.). The objective is to analyze the difficulties that characterize the various areas of the Mediterranean; at the same time I have attempted to detect the changes that occurred on these routes, identifying the possible causes which might have produced them.
