    The purpose of this work is to analyze the flow of Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) in the Tunisian agri-food industries, in a context of economic liberalization and promotion of foreign investments, and to trace their evolution and impact on boosting the agri-food processing industry. After reviewing the Tunisian arrangements for FDI promotion, we tackled the actual FDIs in Tunisia through a survey at the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA), in order to appreciate the extent of the phenomenon in the country�s economy. The evaluation of a sample of 48 foreign food processing industries enabled us to identify their characteristics (nationality of the investor country, location in the Tunisian territory, mode of production...), to confirm them and to check the consistency of our assumptions. The empirical analysis is based on a theoretical background inspired by the eclectic paradigm of John Dunning.

    L�objet de ce travail est d�analyser les flux des investissements directs étrangers (IDE) dans l�industrie agroalimentaire (IAA) tunisienne, dans un contexte de libéralisation économique et de promotion des investissements extérieurs, et de tracer leur évolution et impact sur la dynamisation de l�industrie agro-alimentaire en Tunisie. Après avoir examiné le dispositif tunisien en matière d�IDE, nous nous sommes intéressés aux IDE effectivement réalisés dans l�IAA tunisienne à travers une prospection auprès de l�agence de promotion de l�investissement extérieur (FIPA), en vue d�appréhender l�envergure du phénomène dans l�économie du pays. L�examen d�un échantillon de 48 entreprises agroalimentaires, étrangères ou à participation étrangère présentes en Tunisie, nous a permis de tracer leurs caractéristiques (nationalité du pays investisseur, localisation sur le territoire tunisien, secteur d�activité, régime de production,�) et nous a servi pour confirmer les caractéristiques desdites entreprises et vérifier la pertinence des hypothèses émises. Cette analyse empirique s�est basée essentiellement sur des fondements théoriques inspirés du paradigme éclectique de J. Dunning
