    O artigo relata as experiências do Grupo de Estudos em Direitos Humanos, um dos projetos de extensão do Núcleo de Estudos e Pesquisas em Direitos Humanos da Universidade Federal de Goiás (NDH-UFG). Iniciado em setembro de 2011, o Grupo tem como principais características o caráter interdisciplinar e o livre acesso à participação de qualquer interessado nas discussões sobre as várias temáticas dos Direitos Humanos e os seus desdobramentos. Alunos e funcionários da UFG, estagiários do NDH e pessoas da comunidade externa à UFG, com diferentes motivações e formações diversas, o integram. Os encontros acontecem quinzenalmente e contam com dinâmicas que envolvem a participação de todos os seus integrantes, seja através da leitura, apresentação e debate sobre os textos selecionados, seja através das palestras com pesquisadores convidados. Neste relato, o leitor conhecerá melhor as ações, as temáticas discutidas, os palestrantes já recebidos, os desafios e os projetos do Grupo de Estudos em Direitos Humanos até 2012.

    This paper presents the experiences of the study group on Human Rights, one of the extension projects of the Center for Studies and Research in Human Rights at Federal University of Goiás (UFG-NDH). It started in September 2011 and its main features are interdisciplinary and free access to the participation of anyone who is interested in discussions on many topics of Human Rights and its ramifications. The group is composed by students and staffs from UFG, NDH�s trainees and people outside the academic community, with different motivations and professional backgrounds. The meetings take place every two weeks and have a specific dynamic that involves the participation of all members, whether through reading, presentation and discussion of selected texts, either through lectures by invited researchers.

    Through this study, the reader will have a better understanding of the actions, the topics discussed, the invited speakers, the challenges and the future plans of the study group on Human Rights until 2012.
