    Uno de los fotógrafos más importantes de principios de siglo, consigue sin pretenderlo, convertirse involuntariamente en artista cuando en realidad él solo se consideraba un documentalista de la ciudad de París. La irrupción de los surrealistas en la escena artística, entre ellos Man Ray, hace que se inspiren para sus creaciones en la obra del viejo fotógrafo que en sus últimos años de vida se vio transformado en musa de las creaciones del nuevo movimiento artístico.

    One of the most important photographers of beginning of century, obtains without claiming it, to turn involuntarily into artist when actually alone he was considered to be a documentary maker of the city of Paris. The irruption of the surrealistic ones in the artistic scene, between them Man Ray, does that they inspire for his creations by the work of the old photographer who in his last years of life met transformed into muse of the creations of the new artistic movement.
