    EL INSTITUTO DE BIOMECÁNICA DE VALENCIA (IBV) ha desarrollado en los últimos años una destacada labor en actividades de ensayo, normalización, Marcado CE, diseño y desarrollo de producto en el ámbito de las ayudas técnicas para personas con discapacidad. Fruto de esta actuación, y al objeto de armonizar los intereses del entorno empresarial y las necesidades del usuario final, es la estrecha relación profesional del IBV con la mayoría de empresas fabricantes, organismos de la Administración y asociaciones de profesionales y usuarios relacionados con este sector.

    The Institute of Biomechanics of Valencia (IBV) has developed in the past few years an outstanding work in testing activities, normalisation, CE Marking, product design and product development in the technical aids field for disabled persons.

    Result of this effort, and of the objective to harmonise business interests and the needs of the end user, is the close professional relationship between the IBV and the majority of the manufacturing companies, Organisms of the Administration and professionals associations and users related to this sector.

    The presence on the market today of 70 products with a licence to use de IBV Trademark in its two modalities (Certification and Innovation) contributes to a double objective: it provides the manufacturer with a marking, which certifies the quality of his product and it supports the user in his buying decision.
