Resumen de Nuevos aportes de la historiografía uruguaya a una discusión bicentenaria

La conmemoración del bicentenario de las independencias ha generado numerosas investigaciones acerca de él. El propósito central de este artículo es reseñar la producción histórica más destacada que dentro de la historiografía uruguaya, y referida a esta temática, ha aparecido entre 2009 y 2012. Además se buscan descubrir los caminos que siguió la discusión política y su relación con los avances historiográficos. Por último, se exhibe el vínculo de estos estudios con la obra de François Xavier Guerra y se plantean los temas que es necesario incluir en nuestras agendas de investigación.

The bicentennial commemoration of the independences has generated a lot of investigations about this. The main purpose of this article is to review the high light historical production within the Uruguayan historiography between 2009 and 2012 on this matter. Moreover, it tries to discover the ways which followed the political discussion and its relation with the historiographical advances. Finally, it to display the link between these studies and the work of François Xavier Guerra, and to suggest the issues that we need to include in our research agendas.
