Rogowski coils are simple, reliable and adaptable devices capable of measuring current. These coils operate within a large range of applications and environments, including microelectronics and industrial power systems. Rogowski coil and signal conditioning circuit built to make measurements of its response to electrical stimuli and perform a qualitative analysis. Additionally, from the mathematical model of the coil, a change was made in the internal structure of the coil to get voltages of greater magnitude and readability in electrical measuring instruments. When compared to a standard commercial Rogowski coil, the voltage measurements from the modified Rogowski coil showed a decrease in noise, coupled with an increase in amplitude. By increasing the signal-noise ratio within the system, the integration and amplification circuit yields expected results.
