    La infancia que le tocó vivir al arquitecto Enrique Nieto en su tierra natal, la ciudad de Barcelona, las experiencias en su formación y las influencias de sus familiares y las de sus maestros son analizadas en esta nota para intentar entender y encontrar al hombre que tuvo la posibilidad de cambiar en parte el futuro de la ciudad de Melilla. Los primeros trabajos que le fueron encargados por unos profesionales de la talla de Antonio Gaudí o de Doménech i Montaner definirían para siempre el estilo de su arquitectura y por ende el de las calles y los detalles de las fachadas modernistas.

    The infancy that the architect Enrique Nieto aught to live in its natal birth place, the city of Barcelona, the experiences from his development and the influence from his family and teachers are here analyzed with the aim of understanding and finding the man that had the possibility to change, at least partially, the future of the city of Melilla. His first enterprises as a person in charge requested by professionals of the stature of Antonio Gaudí or Doménech i Montaner defined forever the style of his architecture and consequently that of the streets and of the details of the modernistic facades.
