    En este artículo se plantea realizar un estudio en profundidad sobre la situavción de la religión griega en la Antigüedad Tardía, y más exactamente cuando a mediados del siglo IV el Cristianismo adquiría una imparable presencia social y política. Para conocer el estado de los cultos paganos en el Imperio de Oriente y cuál era todavía su verdadero peso frente al empuje de los seguidores de Jesús, se dasarrolló la investigación a través de uno de los documentos coetáneos que más informan sobre la religión griega y sus manifestaciones bajo imperiales: los escritos del emperador Juliano.

    In this article we will examine the a detailed study of the situation of the Greek religion in Late Antiquity, and more exactly when Christianity was becoming an increasing social and political presence in the middle of the IV century. To know the status of the pagan cults in the Eastern Empire and what was its real importance in the front of the push of the Christians, we will develop this research through one of the most contempprary documents that inform about Greek religion and its manifestation in the Late Antiquity: the writings of the emperor Julian.
