Since the 1990's neoliberalization wave, the American strategy consisted in pushing its companies to conquer the world, and so by various means such as laws, fiscal measures, public orders (often military) and espionage. On the matter of Internet naming, American companies win the game they invented the rules of and thus, spread their identity all over the world that they try to reorganize. However, everything seems to meet walls of resistance in the East.

Depuis la grande vague de liberalisation globale des annees 1990, la strategie etatsunienne a consiste a pousser ses entreprises a conquerir le monde, par des moyens varies : standards, lois, facilites fiscales, commandes publiques (souvent militaires) et espionnage. En matiere de nommage Internet, les entreprises etats-uniennes, gagnantes au jeu dont elles ont invente les regles, portent avec elles l'identite americaine projetee ainsi a travers le monde quelles tentent de reorganiser. Tout se passe pourtant comme si elles se heurtaient a des murs de resistance en Orient, des murs d'ecritures.
