Dificultad en el aprendizaje de bioquímica en estudiantes de la facultad de enfermería de la Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás Hidalgo

    En la presente investigación se describen los motivos de las dificultades que tienen los estudiantes de la Facultad de Enfermería en el aprendizaje de Bioquímica, los estudiantes deben comprender, analizar, y aplicar los conocimientos a estados fisiológicos normales y como el proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje. Objetivo: Identificar los diferentes motivos de dificultad en el aprendizaje de Bioquímica en estudiantes de la Facultad de Enfermería. Justificación: En los estudiantes existen dificultades en el aprendizaje de Bioquímica, lo cual se manifiesta en la falta de aplicación y relación de los conocimientos de esta materia en la práctica hospitalaria. Metodología: Es un estudio descriptivo de análisis cualitativo, en donde se entrevistó a estudiantes de cuarto, sexto y octavo semestres (estudiantes que ya cursaron bioquímica), la entrevista fue semiestructurada, se indagó cómo relacionan los contenidos de Bioquímica con otras asignaturas que los requieren como precedencia y cómo aplican esos conocimientos en la práctica hospitalaria. Conclusión: Se obtuvo información del actual Programa de Bioquímica, de los métodos didácticos y otros motivos a los cuales atribuyeron los estudiantes las dificultades de aprendizaje, tales como no dedicar suficiente tiempo de estudio y deficientes bases de materia antecedentes.

    In the present investigation is described the reasons for the difficulties encountered by the students from the school of Nursing in learning Biochemistry, the students must understand, analyze and apply the knowledge to normal and abnormal physiological states, which is not always, attributed this problem to different reasons, such as the teaching-learning process. Objective: Identify the different reasons of the Biochemistry learning difficulty by the students from the school of Nursing. Justification: There are difficulties existing from the students in the Biochemistry learning, which is manifested in the lack of application and relation of the knowledge acquired in hospital practice. Methodology: This is a descriptive study of qualitative analysis, where students in fourth, sixth, and eighth semesters were interviewed (student who already coursed Biochemistry), the interview was semi structured, investigating how the Biochemistry contents relate to other subjects that require as precedence and how the knowledge is applied in hospital practice. Conclusion: Current information was obtained from the Biochemistry Program, teaching methods and other reasons which students attributed as their learning difficulties, such as not devote enough study time and deficient background subject bases.
