This paper describes a novel approach based on metaheuristic algorithm called Simulated Annealing applied to the management of linear equations in the settlement process. This technique is aimed at reducing the appearance of filling elements that arise in this process. This paper describes in detail the methodology and to validate it, several tests in power networks of varying complexity standardized by the IEEE are presented.
