    En este texto, el autor analiza las decisiones de la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación, la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos y la Sala Superior del Tribunal Electoral del Poder Judicial de la Federación acerca de las candidaturas independientes. El análisis se hace en dos momentos distintos. El primero, antes de la reforma constitucional de 2012, que constitucionalizó el derecho a las candidaturas no partidistas; el segundo, a partir de la normativa que han emitido algunas entidades federativas después de tal reforma, en el que se analizan las contribuciones al tema de las candidaturas independientes a partir de las sentencias de la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación y el Tribunal Electoral.

    In this text, the author analyses the decisions of the Mexican Suprem Court, the Mexican Electoral Court of the Federal Judiciary (tepjf) and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights about independent candidates. The analysis is developed in two times. In the first one, the author explains the situation of independent candidates before the 2012 constitutional and political reforms. In the second one, the author analyses the contributions of the Mexican Suprem Court and the Federal Electoral Court decisions to define the right to be an independent candidate after the constitutional reform and the adjustments in the local laws.
