Algunos estudios han investigado el dibujo aplicado al bordado, pero no se ha hecho una revisión en el sentido inverso. Por lo que la propuesta de este artículo viene determinada por la necesidad de resaltar la incorporación del bordado como proceso y técnica aplicada a las artes plásticas, más allá de la mera artesanía. Al igual que se ha estudiado el dibujo aplicado a los procesos tradicionales de bordado en su creación y diseño, aquí pretendemos mostrar brevemente estas relaciones en el sentido inverso: como el bordado influye y afecta al dibujo al considerarlo una técnica más. El presente trabajo es un avance de una tesis doctoral sobre la aplicación del bordado y la costura al dibujo, realizada en la Universidad de Granada bajo la dirección de Asunción Jódar Miñarro. There are some studies that have research about drawing and its use in embroidery, but there isn't any study in the other way: how can we use embroidery in drawing. So, the main goal of this article is to emphasize the use of needlework as an artistic technique and process; not only underlining the craft aspect. In the same way it has been studied how the drawing is used in the traditional process of needlework; with this article we want to show briefly this relationship in the other way: how embroidering affects drawing if we consider it an artistic technique. This paper is related to a PhD dissertation about embroidery to be submitted at the University of Granada, under the supervision of Asunción Jódar Miñarro. The author wishes to thank María Díaz.
