  • It is presented a case of complete subarachnoid blockade after applying an epidural technique of obstetric analgesia. The low concentrations of local anesthetic (ropivacaine at 0.2%) utilized, which discriminate between the sensitive and motor blockades, allowed fot the case's clinical handling without the need of an advanced vital support
