Resumen de Configuraciones discursivas de Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo: enunciación y mecanismos retóricos en 'Botín de guerra'

María Marta Quintana

  • This article analyzes how the first institutional text of Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo, Spoils of War (1985), configures a frame of meaning, an ordering of events of both the kidnappings and the searches in the face of the vacuum and the ontological dislocation created by the disappearance of children during Argentinas last military dictatorship (1976-1983). And at the same time, the text constitutes a perfomative emergence of the Association in the public scene. The study approaches the corpus as a generic, rhetorical and enunciative dispositif, and from different analytical standpoints, looks more deeply into the development of a progressive symbolic re-articulation in terms of knowledge and political agency.
