LA PARTICIPACIÓN DEL INSTITUTO DE BIOMECÁNICA DE VALENCIA (IBV) EN LOS PROGRAMAS Marco de la Unión Europea comenzó en 1994, pero ha sido en el V Programa Marco (1999-2002), como resultado de distintas iniciativas puestas en marcha, cuando se ha producido un salto significativo, que queda bien patente en el elevado número de proyectos europeos actualmente en ejecución. También en este ámbito de actuación, el IBV persigue contribuir a la innovación y desarrollo tecnológico de su entorno económico y social. Con este objetivo el IBV que aspira a servir de puente entre la Comisión Europea y las empresas españolas y, en especial, de la Comunidad Valenciana promueve actividades encaminadas a incentivar y apoyar su participación en proyectos europeos.

The participation of the Institute of Biomechanics of Valencia (IBV) in Frame Work Programmes of the European Union started in 1994, but it has been in the V Frame Work Programme (1999-2002), as a result of the different initiatives launched, where there has been a significant increase that is evidenced by the high number of European projects that are presently being executed. Through these channels the IBV pursues to contribute to technological innovation and development in its economic and social environment. With this as objective, the IBV promotes activities to encourage and support the participation of Spanish companies, especially of the Comunidad Valenciana, aspiring to serve as a bridge between the latter and the European Commission.
