  El ministro de Educación y Ciencia, Gustavo Suárez Pertierra, presentó, el pasado 3 de mayo, el III Plan Nacional de I+D para el período 1996-1999.

  El nuevo Plan contiene un total de veinticuatro programas. Son de nueva creación los referidos a clima, recursos hídricos, ciencias y tecnologías marinas, telemática, procesos químicos y tecnologías de la rehabilitación. Además, contará con el programa sectorial del Fondo de Investigaciones Sanitarias y el horizontal de Fomento de la Articulación del Sistema Ciencia-Tecnología-Industria

  Last May 3rd the Minister of Education and Science, Gustavo Suárez Pertierra, submitted the IIIrd National R&D Plan for the 1996-1999 period.

  The new Plan contains twenty-four programmes in all. Those connected with climate, water resources, marine sciences and technologies, telematics and the chemical processes and technologies of renewal are new. Moreover, the Health Research Fund regional programme and the horizontal programme for promoting the Structuring of the System of Science, Tecnology and Industry are also included.
