  • Late February and March saw US firms poach and trade partners with an aggressiveness that might put the NFL to shame. One of the highest profile moves saw John Cobb, a finance lawyer who fled the collapsing Dewey LeBoeuf in May 2012 for Weil Gotshal Manges, make a new transition to PAUL HASTINGS. Cobb, who is based in Manhattan, represents banks, funds, investors and issuers in many types of transactions, with particular expertise in leveraged finance, credit facilities and debt offerings.
