    El presente estudio tiene como objetivo suscitar la reflexión sobre los beneficios que aporta al aula de música de Educación Secundaria, a través del análisis de la película «Drumline». Con tal fin, se construye un marco teórico en torno a cómo realizar análisis de films, evidenciando diferentes estudios sobre el uso de esta herramienta en el ámbito educativo y finalizando con investigaciones donde se implementa dicho instrumento en el aula de música. El análisis de la película "Drumline" se realiza desde un punto de vista argumental, y las categorías establecidas se relacionan con los diferentes aspectos educativos del currículum de Secundaria. Dichas categorías se presentan con sus correspondientes líneas de tiempo, bajo la intención de poder ser utilizadas por docentes en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. De este modo, se trabajan diferentes aspectos del currículum, desde una vertiente transdisciplinar y transversal.

    This study aims to encourage reflection on the benefits of the music classroom of high school, through the analysis of the movie «Drumline». To carry out this purpose, a theoretical framework about how to analyze films is built, showing different studies on the use of this tool in education and ending with research where that instrument is deployed in the music classroom. The analysis of the movie "Drumline" have been made from a plot standpoint, and the categories established have been linked to different aspects of educational content to the curriculum of high school. These categories are presented with corresponding timelines, under the intention to be used by educators in the teaching-learning process. Thus, through categories different aspects of the curriculum are worked, from an interdisciplinary and cross curricular aspect.
