  • The article focuses on the increase in public takeover and take-privates in the Asia Pacific region for 2014. It mentions that there is one problem in the execution of take-over deals in the region and that it is about the local squeeze-out rules. It adds that of the 14 Asian jurisdictions surveyed, five have no squeeze-out rules and nine had squeeze-out regulations but has different thresholds.
