  • The article focuses on the consideration of the exchangeable bond of CP Foods as the first out of Thailand and the first equity linked products of the country. It says that many of the funds purchasing equity-linked facilities are putting up a hedging transaction after the purchase of the bonds. It adds that the use of the exchangeable bond for the stock borrow has resulted in a mechanical netting-off process for investors.
