The article concludes the progressive revisitation of the iconography linked to the Carmelite Mary Magdalen de' Pazzi, the setting for which was the Florence of Cosimo II and III, and the Rome of Urban VIII and Inocent IX. The author deals with the reconstruction of the sumptuous theatrum sacrum features in the solemn canonization ceremony in April 1669. This piece of machinery must be considered lost, since it was constructed as a temporary scenic element, but it is evoked in various commemorative prints, and paintings based on the cartoons and "teleri" (large canvases) created by painters of the Cortona school who worked for the Barberini and Rospigliosi families.
