Resumen de Análisis del discurso de Plataforma per Catalunya sobre inmigración en los ayuntamientos de Vic y el Vendrell (Cataluña)

  Este trabajo investiga cómo Plataforma per Catalunya (Plataforma por Cataluña), un partido político populista de la derecha radical de reciente creación, construye su discurso re-activo racista sobre inmigración. El estudio presenta, desde la perspectiva del análisis crítico del discurso, cómo la representación global negativa de las personas inmigradas influye directamente en la creación y reproducción de determinadas opiniones y actitudes en la sociedad catalana hacia la inmigración. En este mismo contexto, el análisis mostrará cómo el discurso refleja las ideologías y cómo el partido combina su discurso populista con la retórica de la tradición para justificar y legitimar sus políticas o decisiones. Con este fin, el estudio se centrará en el análisis de los tópicos, de microestrategias léxicas, semánticas y sintácticas y, también, de las microestrategias argumentativas que emergen de los discursos de Plataforma per Catalunya en los plenos de dos ayuntamientos catalanes: Vic y El Vendrell.

  El presente análisis ofrecerá al lector o lectora una primera aproximación a algunas estructuras discursivas que hacen explícitas cómo se construye y se justifica el discurso racista. Las conclusiones mostrarán que este partido proyecta una imagen muy negativa de las personas inmigradas por medio de un discurso re-activo manipulativo que constituye la base principal para la creación y reproducción de prejuicios y estereotipos hacia la inmigración.

  This essay explores how Plataforma per Catalunya (Platform for Catalonia), a recently created populist radical right political party, builds its racist re-active discourse on immigration. This study presents from a critical discourse analysis perspective, how the negative global representation of migrants influences directly on the creation and reproduction of certain opinions and attitudes in Catalan society towards immigration. In the same context, this analysis will show how ideologies are reflected in discourse and how the party combines a populist discourse with the rhetoric of tradition to justify and legitimize its policies or decisions. For this purpose, the study will be focused on the analysis of topics, of lexical, semantic and syntactical microstrategies and also of argumentative microstrategies that emerge from Plataforma per Catalunya�s discourses in two Catalan city councils: Vic and El Vendrell.

  The present analysis will offer the readers a first insight into some discursive structures that make explicit how racist discourse is constructed and justified. The conclusions will show that this party projects a very negative image of migrants through a manipulative re-active discourse, which constitutes the main basis for the creation and reproduction of prejudices and stereotypes towards migrant population.
