Resumen de Experiencia conjunta de dos institutos de la Comunidad de Madrid para el estudio de los ecosistemas

Este trabajo propone el estudio de Los Ecosistemas, una de las unidades didácticas del currículo de Ciencias Naturales de 2.º de ESO, utilizando una metodología donde los alumnos son los verdaderos protagonistas del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje.
La experiencia ha consistido en un intercambio educativo entre dos grupos de dos IES vecinos del noroeste de la Comunidad de Madrid. En primer lugar, los alumnos han preparado una ruta por los ecosistemas más representativos de sus respectivos municipios, y después han sido ellos mismos los que la han enseñado a los alumnos del pueblo vecino.
El resultado ha sido muy satisfactorio porque los alumnos estaban muy motivados, ha aumentado su interés por el conocimiento y defensa del medio ambiente, ha funcionado muy bien el aprendizaje cooperativo y se han creado puentes entre los dos centros educativos.

The aim of this meant to present a new approach to the study of The Ecosystems, one of the didactic units included in the Science curriculum for 2.º ESO. This method involves research and creative spirit and is thought to make the students the main actors of their own learning process.
The experience consisted of an aducational exchange between two nearby Secondary Schools in Northwet Madrid where a group of students representing each school developed a route through the most representative ecosystems in their village and then presented and explained it to the other group.
The results have been satisfactory because of the students were highly motivated, showed an increasing interest in the knowledge and defence of envoromental issues, proved to get involved in a cooperative learning process and created bonds between the two educational centres.
