    • The authors offer opinions on authorship of academic discourse. It is stated that too many scholars seeking to be published ignore the value of narrative storytelling in presenting their research. The need to include a human element in presenting research is seen as vital. the importance of motion and pacing in authorship of academic writing is stressed and the need to avoid cluttered language is cited. The author's need for feedback from others on his or her prose is said to be significant, as is the role of copy editors.
